As
a Zen master once put it: if one lives through a difficult crisis
or experience and has to work through a great stroke of fate, this might
save oneself 30 years of meditation. Although, this sentence is surely
also meant to be humorous, it still contains a core of truth.
Encountering ourselves deeply inside and meeting the profound insight
into our being and life that can develop from a crisis, is of
inestimable value. Maybe this thought can help everyone who is currently
experiencing severe difficulties in their lives
